Formed in Tampere, Finland in the summer of 1999, Killpretty brought together hardcore roots, rap-metal energy and a melodic edge. Clean vocals and aggressive passages give the music its contrast, moving between intensity and vulnerability.

The band’s early releases included the demo You Might Be Better Off With Someone Else, I Will Never (2000) and the EP Marching On To The Agony’s Last Edge (2001). The debut album, The Art of Letting Go, followed in 2006.
